Dryer Vent Maintenance in Laguna Niguel, CA

Why does my dryer take two cycles upstairs?
Usually it's the vertical rise. Second-floor laundry rooms here run 18 to 30 feet up to a roof jack, plus offsets around trusses. Lint lifts partway, loses velocity, and falls back. It compacts at the base of the rise. A brush run from the dryer end alone misses that plug. The roof cap matters too. Screens and louvers collect lint and nesting material, and some caps were never meant for dryers at all.
Condo laundry closets work differently. Stacked against a shared demising wall, they vent through long soffit runs with several elbows. Townhome ground-floor closets duck into a crawl-under or an under-stair chase. Access drives the whole job in those cases.
Check the transition hose yourself. Pull the dryer out. Flexible foil crushed behind a pedestal in a shallow closet is common and kills airflow before the duct even starts. Rigid or semi-rigid metal fixes that for good.
Garage-wall laundry in older single-story stock is the easy version, a short 6 to 10 foot sidewall run.
Annual suits most homes. Go every six to nine months with long upstairs runs, four-plus people, or pets. Brown ceiling staining below an attic duct means a disconnect, not just lint.
What Happens After You Call Us
Call and tell us the dryer's floor, the vent run, and how many cycles a load takes now. We book a 90 minute window and text when we're on the way.
We look at the hood outside, the duct behind the dryer, and the run length, then give you a firm price before a single tool comes off the truck.
We clean the full run, reconnect the dryer, run a cycle to check airflow, vacuum the lint off your floor, and charge exactly what we quoted.
